I am a native chinese from YinChuan ...hello, Brain. I am a native chinese from YinChuan and now in UK. I am gald that you visited my hometown.
Frankly speaking,
North-western china , as a remote and undeveloped region in most chinese peoples` eyes(or foreigners) has been ignored by the country for a long time for some reasons, such as history, location and policies......Though the city used to be one of the major cities in silk road hundreds years ago. You can not expected a authentic APPLE STORE in cities like Yinchuan which has only 2million population. We were not born in these ‘developed’ cities like Beijing, shanghai, guagnzhou, shenzhen etc but we still would like to buy the newest product, In this case, fake apple store is a good choice though we have to pay even more prices for the same product compared to BJ and SH. The imbalance of development in different cities in china result in this situation.
To my delight , I can still order an apple product from APPLE official website which is dispatched from shanghai APP store , its only takes about 3-5 days.
Furthermore, some western/chinese investors have regional discrimination against inland China. They just focus on 1st class cities and coastal cities and villages but dont give a shit on inland. (mainly NW china)
For instance, MCdonalds refuse to expand to yinchuan because they think people there CANT afford their BIG MAC burger .(While there are 9 KFC in YINCHUAN ,first one opened 11 years ago)
same thing to Urmqi, which has LOUIS VUITTON ,BURBERRY, ARMANI stores but no MCdonalds.
sometimes I am really annoyed at the ignorance from chinese gov. They spend all our nations money on Sourth east and mainly focus on BEIJING ,SHANGHAI,shenzhen
LOOK AT North west, full of fossil fuels but become the poorest !!!!!!
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01121040704115514015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3263613130427456647.post-15300892031919936442012-11-14T18:52:38.542+08:002012-11-14T18:52:38.542+08:00Does it really matter though? Not everyone in Chin...Does it really matter though? Not everyone in China has to go to "Authorized Retailers"...oh..which by the way are only in TWO CITIES. Beijin & Shanghai, with new plans for Shenzen & Chengdu. What about the remaining Billion people in China...?? They are forced to go to their "Local Authorized Resellers."

And about the huge signs & non-apple name, that's really not true either. Several "Local Authorized Resellers" here in New York also have huge Apple Signs with their actual store names barely visible. even the Verizon & Sprint Resellers have their whole stores look like Verizon Sprint etc. boyaccenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12595611029785519227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3263613130427456647.post-38723098834493104802012-06-15T23:29:38.208+08:002012-06-15T23:29:38.208+08:00If someone would pay for marketing any delivery ch...If someone would pay for marketing any delivery channels for me, and sells real stuff bought from me at market price, I won't object at all. Furthermore, I can always blame them for any deficiency of products sold by them on them.Rand(45)https://www.blogger.com/profile/06198862637139455247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3263613130427456647.post-9417606134954375762012-06-09T23:52:00.078+08:002012-06-09T23:52:00.078+08:00In my experience, typically the authorized reselle...In my experience, typically the authorized resellers will not very prominently display the Apple logo on their store sign and will have a clear non-Apple name to the store (such as "Garyin"). There is an example of a typical authorized store in China at the end of the post here.Brian Glucrofthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02144046195231802682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3263613130427456647.post-8745227311931938992012-06-09T09:40:16.194+08:002012-06-09T09:40:16.194+08:00Honestly I don't know how you can tell the dif...Honestly I don't know how you can tell the difference because they all seem right to me? I guess I would have to have a list of the authorized retailers or I would never know??? Interesting! W.C.C.W.C.Camphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04635788252201119646noreply@blogger.com
